Delete Your Account


To permanently delete your Octo account:


  1. Open the app and make sure you're logged in
  2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion when prompted


Before You Delete


Important: You cannot delete your account if you have:

  • Active job requests (as a customer)
  • Ongoing assignments (as a service provider)


Please complete or cancel any active jobs before attempting to delete your account.


What Happens When You Delete


Immediately removed:

  • Your personal profile information
  • Contact details and preferences
  • Saved addresses and payment methods
  • Device notifications and tokens


Retained for business/legal purposes:

  • Completed job records (anonymised)
  • Payment and invoice history (anonymised)
  • Ratings (anonymised comments, preserved scores)


This data retention complies with GDPR regulations and business requirements.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days of deletion.
